Plastic Paddies play Irish and Celtic folk music, the world-renowned genre with its jigs and reels, in perfect harmony with a handful of self-written songs in the same tradition. The band is based in Horten, Vestfold, and was formed back in early 2010. After almost five years and over a hundred concerts, the band has found its place, and learned how to combine traditional melodies and instruments with rich arrangements, vocal harmonies and a creative rhythm section.
The band consists of:
Kristian Q. K. Dugstad – Vocals, mandolin and accordion
Jon Anders Bjerva – Tin whistle and vocals
Kim Terje Akselsen – Guitar and vocals
Terje Lundstad – Drums and percussion
Ingeborg Rudland Næss – Bass guitar and vocals
Hans Olav Talgø and Daniel Krüger - Tech crew when needed
